Dr. Angela Porter
 Dr. Porter moved to Cortez, Colorado at the age of 8 years.
She graduated from MCHS in 1986 and pursued her dream of becoming a Veterinarian by attending Colorado State University.
Dr. Porter received Bachelor's Degrees in both Biology and Zology in 1990.
Her next step was CSU's School of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating from CSU in 1994, she returned to Cortez with her husband Dan.
While Angela works with animals, Dan works with children as an elementary school principal for the Montezuma County school district.
They live in Cortez with their two children and too many pets.
Dr. Bernholtz is originally from Iowa.
After receiving her DMV from Iowa State University in 1988, she & her husband Alan moved to Las Vegas, NV.
Dr. Bernholtz practiced at a small clinic, while her husband finished his education at UNLV.
In 1994, they moved to Farmington, NM, where she was an associate at Valley Veterinary Clinic.
In the summer of 2000, they moved to the Mancos area and Dr. Bernholtz started studying veterinary acupuncture.
She received her acupuncture license through the Colorado State University Veterinary School in the fall of 2000.
Rose & Alan have 3 children along with their 2 dogs, 5 cats & several rabbits.
